ABOUT  US

Laura is an AHPRA/CMBA registered Acupuncturist having completed her Masters Degree in acupuncture at RMIT University and holds additional Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) Degrees.  She has been in the health industry for over 20 years working in pathology, tertiary healthcare, and as a private practitioner.

 

Laura is both a Registered Acupuncturist and a Registered Nurse with experience across multiple settings including aged care, acute care, peri-operative, cardio-thoracic, paediatric, disability and community settings. Her diverse experience allows her to treat a wide variety of conditions including but not limited to:

- Connective Tissue disorders: EDS/JHSD & associated conditions

- Perinatal care: pregnancy, induction, breastfeeding and lactation 

- Mental Health and Neurodivergent conditions

- Musculoskeletal conditions

- Neurological disorders

- Cosmetic acupuncture

Laura employs her wealth of experience in both Eastern and Western Medicine and additional training in manual therapies (massage and reflexology) to provide empathetic, holistic, patient centred care, uniquely catering to each persons individual needs.

Dr. Laura is available for mobile clinic services through Hearthfire Health throughtout north Brisbane and Moreton Bay North as well as TLC Acupuncture clinics at Wooloongabba, Hamilton, And Brisbane City Clinics
